About Dr. Sean Wharton
Bariatric Specialist
Dr. Wharton graduated from the University of Toronto and the U of T Pharmacy Program in 1992. He then completed his Doctorate in Pharmacy in 1997.
Dr. Wharton completed at the U of T in 2001 and his residency In Internal Medicine at McMaster in 2005. His Interest in ethnicity and medicine led him to the study of hypertension and cardiovascular disease and then to obesity undo the guidance of Dr. Arya Sharma (Canadian Chair in Obesity and Cardiovascular Medicine).
Dr. Wharton has treated hundreds of obese patients at the Hamilton General Hospital Bariatric Clinic and now runs the Wharton Medical clinic in Hamilton , Ontario Canada.

Hi, my doctor has asked me to take a look at the Wharton Medical Clinic as she wants me to go there. As you can see, I am on the site right now and I am excited to call the Doctors office tomorrow morning to let her know that I would like to go there. I have had weight issues almost my whole life and I just turned 50 about 3 weeks ago. I have type 2 diabetes that was diagnosed about 4 years ago and high blood pressure about 8 years ago and of course are on pills for both of these. I am at a point in my life that I cannot live like this anymore and desperately need the help. My doctor is trying her best to help me and is giving me this opportunity to get healthy and feel happy and actually love myself again.
